Directions

By train

We are a short walk from the station. Come out of the station and turn left towards the city centre (Station Avenue). This will take you under the Bar Walls and The Maltings pub across the road directly in front of you. Cross this road and turn left onto Tanner’s Moat, so that The Maltings is now on your right hand side. Walk to the end of this road and turn right onto Wellington Row which follows into North Street, (the river should be adjacent on your left hand side). Walk to the very end of this street and at the traffic lights go straight across onto Skeldergate. Keep walking straight ahead just a few steps, then take right onto Fetter Lane. Menagerie House is at the top of the street on the right. You can’t miss the yellow door!

By car

You’ll probably want to drop off your belongings at Menagerie House before parking up. Take signs to the city centre and drive towards the train station. From the train station, head towards the city centre and drive under the Bar Walls and across the junction onto Rougier Street which joins onto George Hudson Street. This road automatically takes you left through some traffic lights onto Micklegate. Once through these lights, there will be another set (before the bridge) and at these lights turn right onto Skeldergate. Then take the immediate right onto Fetter Lane. Menagerie House is the second to last house on the right with a bright yellow door you cannot miss! Parking is free outside the property from 6pm to 8am.
